Karl W. Strom, MD
Dr. Strom’s Education
includes: Bachelor of Arts, University of Vermont; Master of Science in
Chemistry, Montclair State University; Doctor of Medicine, St. George’s
University School of Medicine.
Recently he has completed
six years of post graduate surgical training at Westchester Medical
Center, New York Medical College, where he has performed over 300
advanced laparoscopic and bariatric operations during his Fellowship.
As Director of Bariatric
Surgery, Dr. Strom is establishing a center of excellence for obesity
surgery that will incorporate a multidisciplinary team including
specialists in psychiatry, nutrition, pulmonary medicine, cardiology and
plastic surgery.
